Founded in 2008 by Wayne Thompson, Albion Ventures began as a specialized infrastructure installation firm focused on PBX, POS, and digital signage. In 2020, we strategically pivoted to meet the evolving demands of our enterprise customers, transforming into a comprehensive Technology Systems Integrator.
n response to the 2019 FCC Forbearance Order phasing out POTS (plain old telephone service), Albion engineered a Managed Specialty Lines platform — a next-generation, category-defining life-safety solution providing mission-critical support for fire alarms, elevator lines, and other legacy systems. Through a strategic partnership with Lumen Technologies, we scaled this solution to 10x our revenue — making Albion the North American market leader in POTS replacement.
That same drive for innovation led to the creation of RES-Q, our 5G fixed wireless broadband suite, and positions Albion at the center of one of the fastest-growing segments in global telecommunications.
